Nokia N95 Reviews

Nokia N95 is undoubtedly one of the top selling handsets in the world market today. The phone is full of high-tech features and specifications that have left all the users mesmerized and awe-struck. Before its release, the Nokia N95 was the most anticipated handset and after its release it is the highest selling. The phone has been able to satisfy the raised expectations of the customers worldwide and hence its success was only inevitable.

This phone is an extremely complicated gadget with high-tech features for the high-end users. For example, the GPS system in the phone is rocking! For a small subscription fee it intimates you about the places and locations according to proximity. The N95 boasts of an MP3 player/video playback that gives out exceptionally good quality music and video images. The speakers deliver high volume and it comes with EQ and visualizations. Moreover, the music player supports almost all poplar music formats.

To add on to all the regular features, the N95 also boasts of office document readers and editors, GPS utilities, VOIP, a uPNP media server, a standard converter and calculator, zip utilities, et al. In spite of all the exciting features that have made N95 the cult phone that it is today, one can easily find certain faults in it which are worth a mention.

The battery life of the phone is a big disappointment. No doubt GPS, Wi-Fi and the booming speakers eat up a lot of life out of the battery but even when you turn these off the battery would be asking for a charge after 18 hours of normal usage. The N95 is a European variant and its WCDMA 2100 radio can’t tap Cingulars US band HSDPA. Turning off the 3G option and instead using WiFi for audio\video transfers would be an alternative. The exorbitant price is another factor that acts as a big disappointment and keeps the N95 out of the reach of the ordinary.
